What is our role in the food system? How can we sustain a healthy diet and a healthy planet through producing, distributing, and consuming food responsibly? What is the role of local urban agriculture in the much larger planetary food network? The Urban Planetary Diet Workshop will explore these questions about our food systems in an urban context. Led by Marcatus QED’s Value Chain Enrichment Manager, Amanda Klarer, participants will learn about the nuances of sustainable food systems through an interactive activity, group discussions, and a visual presentation.
