With the coronavirus bringing much of the world to a standstill, we are all being challenged to re-define what sustainability means in our businesses, as well as our personal lives. This event will explore how businesses emerging from the crisis can embrace new, more meaningful approaches to sustainability, and examine new candidates for best practice in our changing times.

Discussion questions:

• How can companies embrace sustainability now and for the future? Where are the opportunities for business sustainability in a world that is changing so rapidly and dramatically?
•  What are the best frameworks and tools for businesses to become more sustainable? What are the best in class resources and sustainability standards to use?
• How do you communicate and implement sustainability in an organisation, in a way that is authentic and commits to lasting change? What are the techniques and skills that leaders need to become more sustainable?

Speaker:

Felix Preston is Director of Sustainability Insights at Generation Investment Management, where his role focuses on developing Generation’s thought leadership on sustainability. Prior to joining Generation in early 2019, Felix was a researcher at Chatham House – the Royal Institute of International Affairs – where he worked on issues including low carbon development, the circular economy, global resource trade and low probability high impact events. He has an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a BSc in Geography and Environmental Science from the University of Sussex.
