As part of the action plan, the Steering Committee for the Bayfront Industrial Area of Hamilton (the Bayfront), his hosting a youth engagement event to get input from youth on their vision and objectives for the Bayfront study area. The secondary goal of this event is to help the Steering Committee understand youth issues in terms of employment barriers and factors for employment happiness. The employment component ties in strongly to some of the discussions that have come out of our Steering Committee conversations. Another event will be held in May, by the Steering Committee, to engage all focus groups on the draft action plan document.
